Important Health Information Regarding Plastic Bottles

We at Smitten Baby would like to explain to our customers why our Baby bottles are made of polycarbonate (clear plastic) material. Smitten Baby, like most baby bottle companies use polycarbonate (clear plastic) because it does not crack or shatter; it can be cleaned at high temperatures to ensure sterilization of the bottles prior to infant use and it does not absorb odors.

We are aware that Health Canada is reviewing the safety of the use of plastics in baby bottles and would like to assure our customers that we are monitoring the results and will discontinue all sales if Health Canada finds them unsafe. We are also in the process of finding an alternative in glass bottles and will update you as soon as we have more information.
